The Jonas Brothers are all set to revisit their discography during a special run on Broadway this March. The five-night performance will feature the trio playing the songs of every record from their 2007’s self-titled LP through their upcoming one, The Album. The residency will take place in New York City at the Marquis Theatre.
The Jonas Brothers to Perform on Broadway
On each night from March 14th to 18th, the Jonas Brothers will play the entirety of one of their albums, alongside some of their other hits from their career. The albums will be presented chronologically, starting with their 2007 self-titled one. A special live debut of their upcoming LP, The Album, is set to close the residency. The new album won’t be released until May 12th.
Registration for all dates of the residency was open until Feb. 26th, and fans who got an access code were also able to purchase tickets until March 1st. With all tickets now sold, fans are ready to revisit the pop rock band’s music with the exception of 2006’s It’s About Time album.
The Jonas Brothers With a New Single
The announcement of the Broadway residency arrived with the Jonas Brothers’ new single, “Wings”. The Album also marks the group’s sixth studio effort and follows their reunion record, Happiness Begins, which came out in 2019. Fans were naturally thrilled to hear the news of their single release after eagerly awaiting new music from the trio. The release of “Wings” marks a new chapter in the Jonas Brothers’ career as they continue to experiment with different sounds and styles.
So far, “Wings” has been praised for its upbeat instrumentation and catchy chorus, which reinforces the band’s signature pop-rock sound. The song’s lyrics are focused on themes of empowerment and perseverance, which is not a surprise considering that the Jonas Brothers have always been known for their positive, uplifting messages. With its inspirational lyrics and infectious melody, “Wings” is already a hit with old and new fans alike.
